2006 BMW 5 series

Got the car a week ago runs smooth as fuck few age related marks and faults but easy fixs but yesterday the battery died so got it replace and its flashing charging fault so my guess is alternator the car starts wen u charge the battery but had a few separate opinions and they all belive its juts a loose wire Im no car man so I have no idea with our taking it to a garage but I cba 2500 or nearest offer takes it car is mint wen it holds a charge all so due a service but plenty of mot
